    本稿は、Covid-19に関連する中国語表現について分析したものである。コーパスとしたのは中国における動画プラットフォーム《二更》における連作短編動画《戦疫 》の一連の動画《那个被感染了的女護士》と国務院が Covid-19（新型コロナウイルス）の疫病対策を
    総括した白書で、これらの Covid-19に関する中国語の比喩表現を抽出し、その概念メタファーを分析した。その結果、〈伝染病は戦争〉〈治療は戦い〉〈ウイルスは敵〉という概念メタファーで表現されていることを論じた。また中国で Covid-19の感染防止を呼びか
    けた告知文 “温馨提示” をとりあげ、そのプロソディの特徴について論じた。その結果、中国には様々な形式の告知文が存在するなかで、Covid-19の告知文は３音節、４音節、そして４音節＋３音節からなる７音節からなるリズムが整えられていることを指摘した。

    本稿は、現代中国語の文語(書面語)読解の基礎となる「くぎり符号」(中国語では“標点符号”)の用法について考察したものである。正書法がなく、業界によってくぎり符号の用法が決まる日本語とは異なり、中国語では「くぎり符号」の用法が厳密に定められており、法律、公文書、契約書、論文、説明書など多くの公的文書に共通して適用されている。この中国語の「くぎり符号」は、日本語はもとより正書法を有する他の言語と比べても多彩な記号が用いられているが、それゆえに各記号に対応する日本語訳が定まっていないものも多い。本稿では、現代中国語の書面語に関する中国語教育の一環として、現代中国語のくぎり符号の規範の訳例を提示し、日本語との用法の違いを明らかにした。また中国語の「くぎり符号」を把握することが教学上、中国語の書面語の理解につながるだけでなく、音読の際のプロソディ理解にもつながることを指摘した。

    本稿は、琉球語(琉球方言)を記述した歴史資料をもとに、各資料にどのような漢語語彙が収録されてきたかを通時的に明らかにしたものである。その結果、1500年から1800年までの資料においては具象語彙を中心に記述がなされ、抽象語彙は役職名など限られた分野の記述に限られたことを指摘した。さらにベッテルハイムの『英琉辞書』の漢語語彙が、当時の琉球人にひょって使用されていたものというよりは、布教のためにベッテルハイムによって準備されたものであることを指摘した。

    『おもろさうし』は嘉靖10年(1531年)から天啓3年(1623年)にかけて首里王府によって編纂された歌謡集である。従来より、言語資料としてこの歌謡集を分析した結果、イ段やウ段に由来する語がかえってエ段やオ段で表記される「広母音化」が観られることが指摘されてきた。本稿は、『おもろさうし』と同時代、あるいは相前後する時代の琉球語を示した朝鮮語資料や中国資料に、この「広母音化」の現象が観られるかを考察したものである。その結果、『おもろさうし』において「広母音化」が認められる語は、同じ語を示す外国資料においてはその現象が観られないことを指摘した。この結果は、『おもろさうし』において「広母音化」しているようにみえる現象は、類推的仮名遣いが反映であると結論づけた。

    『六諭衍義』は、明の太祖が発布した「六諭」に解説を施し、故事や例話などを加えた庶民向けの道徳教科書とされる。本稿はこれが琉球の明倫堂で官話教材として用いられたことを示し、との言語特徴を論じた。その結果、『六諭衍義』は他の琉球官話の資料とは異なる言語特徴をもち、南方方言的要素が薄いことを指摘した。
