After Yingyuan(J.,Ingen) took up a new position as the chief priest of Manpuku-ji temple in Uji, Kyoto in 1661, Obaku temples were developed and expanded by the activities of Chinese monks in various places in Japan. After that, as the number of Chinese monks declined, the group of Japanese monks who inherited their will as the next generation began to show their activities. Bairei Dosetsu was one of them, and many temples founded by the Bairei Zen Master can be seen in Omi (Shiga prefecture). In this study, by focusing on arts and crafts left there and collecting data, one aspect of acculturation development in modern times has been clarified.
